Grad Jordan Joseph of Virgin Orbit Speaking at Space and Fashion Event
Merchandise Product Development Graduate Jordan Joseph is the Creative Manager of Design & Production at Virgin Orbit, and this weekend she'll be speaking at Spaceport LA, a non-profit organization for building a vibrant space community in the greater LA area.
Taking place on Saturday, June 23, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Common Space Brewery in El Segundo, California, Celestial Chic: Let's Talk SPACE + FASHION will feature a panel of fashion experts to talk space-themed trends across the industry. In addition to Jordan, panelists include international model and science host Athena Brensberger, Svaha Apparel Co-Founder Eva Everett, and STARtorialist space-fashion blogger Summer Ash.
In addition to a happy hour and the chance to mingle with other space and fashion-minded folks, there will be flight suit samples from Virgin Orbit, product samples from Svaha and Made of Mars, posters by STARtorialist, and martian wallets from Made of Mars on display as well.
Prior to being promoted to Creative Manager in 2017, Jordan worked at Virgin Orbit as an Associate Designer, and Virgin Galactic (a sister company) as an Associate Apparel Designer and Fashion Associate Designer. The Long Beach-based company, founded by visionary entrepreneur Richard Branson, has a mission to open space for everyone.
